Don’t believe anything other than Jer. 29:11(Amplified Bible)–For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Here are a few principals to help you start today!



1. Work Like it is up to you and pray like it is up to God! Work hard and pray hard! God wants to help you more than you want His help.


2. Have a concise plan of where and what you want to accomplish. Write it down in detail. Then write down how you think you will accomplish it.


3. Do 5 things every day that drives you in that direction.


4. ASK for help. Surround yourself with a team of people who share your passion.


5. Contact someone who has already done what you want and ask for them to coach you. Be willing to do what they ask.


6. Align yourself with the authorities in your life.


7. Be grateful for every opportunity that comes your way and give 110% like it is where you already want to be.


8. Take risk. Sometimes when you live on the edge you will fall off but you will miss 100% of the opportunities that you never try! The worst thing that could happen is most likely where you already are.


9. Take serious action today. Don’t wait one more day!


10. Do what you love! Most likely your gift is in someway connected!

Forgiveness Brings Joy!!!!

Forgiveness calls for a shift in our perception of how we would deal with something that seems wrong to us. It is easier to forgive ourselves and others when we really understand that each of us is constantly fighting a battle of flesh and spirit. Whatever one you feed the most, is the one that rules.
"If we don’t forgive ourselves for our mistakes, and others for the wounds they have inflicted upon us, we end up crippled.
You cannot grow under a blanket of self hatred or bitterness because both of these WILL destroy you!!
Then comes to mind the formula of 7 X 70 ...........Sheesh!!! that can be a tough mathematical formula to live by. Yet, it is Gods formula for forgiving my brother or sister or the world for its atrosities.......
Joy is the result of a constant forgiving Christian!! I want forgiveness so I can be forgiven. Forgive us our debts..............as we forgive our debtors......!!! It is the only way to live victorious. God help me to live what I am preaching today!!!!!

I HAVE LEARNED!!

- I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

- I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows.
-I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day.
- I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
- I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
-I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.
- I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

STAR'S BRIDAL SHOWER June 21,2008

Today was one of the most amazing Bridal Showers I have ever attended. The theme was "Strawberry Short Cake"
The wonderful, beautiful ladies came from all quadrants of the city to meet at the park. Star is so very thankful to all the ladies coming such a long distance to share in her exciting day.

I MISS MY FATHER!!!!

Today June 20th is the day I lost my father. He was very much loved by his family. Seems everyone loved Leo... A heart overflowing with a servant spirit. Leo would do anything for anybody. Go without to see others happy!
Even though he drove me around the bend with his alcoholism; when he was sober there was nobody like Leo.
His children and my Pastor and his wife were by my fathers side until his last breath! Holding his hand! Pastor King baptized my dad 2 weeks before he died. Said he repented............................. We shall see in the end I guess!!! The good news is God is going to take away the sad memories and wipe away my tears...

I love you dad and miss you more than you would ever understand!
I love you Jesus and I believe you do understand!
Earthly fathers shall pass away, but my heavenly father shall never pass away.

HERE WE GO!!!

Well, we are soon off to go to Luke and Courtney's wedding. I am very excited!!
Knowing God is in their midst! Courtney will be my daughter, which is a blessing far above what I ever thought I deserved. She brings so much happiness to our lives. Luke will have his hands full, Court is full of life. One of the things I love most about Courtney is her walk with God! She has such desire and is Kingdom minded! We are going to have a living blast!!! Luke has been given just the right girl for his personality. She is great for Luke!! Luke is great for Courtney!! The mixture works!
God definately knew what he was doing! Just think in 5 days I have another daughter.
Thank you God for what you are about to do! You are a suddenly God!! You know the beginning from the end! Thank you for Luke, Courtney, Sara, Mark, Star. (and Meela)
My little family is growing by the month. I just love it!!
Once Luke and Court are married, I will be posting and discussing my soon to be new son Mark.... (to be continued)

I MISS MY MOTHER!!

Today April 19, 1989 my mothers life ended. Wow, what a total mind blower for me. I remember crying non stop for two days, like non stop!!
Memories deep in me of her in her younger years. Memories of her through her middle life. Memories of her in her senior years. Memories of the final chapter, which hurt beyond words.
Even through her heavy alcoholism, she was still a hot blooded Italian momma!! I have thanked God hundreds of times for the mother and father he gave me.
I loved my mother!
I miss you mom!!

Immerse yourself in the joy and wonder of every now and life will be a gift!

Yesterday is gone! You cannot do anything about it! Tomorrow is not even here yet, so why worry! Right now this moment is the only moment you can do anything about. My experience has been to keep it real; be honest to yourself and with yourself and let the greiving process take place in your life. You rip yourself off when you don't allow yourself to grieve.
I has been the only way I can get a healing. Of course with Gods help; but he put grieving as an emotion in me. So I thank him for the healing process via grieving!!!

PREACHING!!

This year I was so blessed to be able to watch No Limits at home on my computer. Computers can annoy, frustrate and make me so angry of the time waster they are. But, having No Limits come into my home seems such a blessing.
From the very moment it started until the last image before the network signed it off; my heart was blessed. This sounds like a child, but it seems every year becomes my favorite year of No Limits.
The word......... it has so much power. Deals with us humans. The list is too long to write how the word of God ministers to us. I love preaching!!! I love praying!!! I love worshipping!!!!
Why did God call such a one as me into this marvelous life? Wonder if he was aiming for someone beside me, behind me, in front of me.... and made a mistake.
When I think of what I have all done for him..... thats what makes me think he may have this one time; missed the boat!!
All I can say is "Thank you Jesus" for picking up this wasted, burned out, addicted, fearful woman out of the crowd and for filling me with your spirit. That I could get rid of my spirit. I promise I needed to get rid of mine. It still tries to rear it's ugly head and show it's ugly face from time to time. But only with Gods help; it hits the road and Christ in me the hope and glory rises again.
The Holy Ghost is so real!! If everyone would just try it, there just ain't no going back. I am not being melodramatic..... but I would rather die than to live one day without the Holy Ghost living in me. Had 34 years without him,,,, doing it my way...... what a mess!! Now I have had 25 years with him..... trying to do it his way.... what a joy!!!

How do you explain last night when God came in like a flood and overtook the service?
How do you explain that NOBODY DO ME LIKE JESUS CAN!
How do you explain nothing can compare to him and nothing can touch you like Jesus can?
How do you explain that you have found a new drug; a glorious addiction that won't hurt you!

I have a hard time understanding why God would find me in my wicked ungodly state. Bring me into his body and put me in higher places! He is indesribable, uncontainable.... he placed the Stars in the sky and he knows them by name........Yet he placed me in his wonderful Church, knows the very hairs on my head, and he calls me by name.

Oh I am so greatful,
There is no life outside Jesus Christ...
No life.....
